Information about my design
For this project I wanted to create a mountain range landscape that reminded me of my home country. I started with a blank canvas and selected and added elements from various pictures that I liked which included elements like the waterfall, the mountains, the clouds and sunset, little rock elements placed in various sections, the silhouette of a person and the flower bed piece duplicated, moved, manipulated and flipped at the bottom section.
After selecting each element, I used various tools like the lasso tool, I masked and layered various objects and subjects to create a new image. I used the brush tool and enhanced each element by manipulating the tones, colors, hues, saturation, vibrance and effects to create a belended image with the design that I wanted. The text is warped, embossed and beveled to create a different effect. I wanted to create a peaceful image that reminded me of my home town.
